Christina Lake property among region’s highest valued

A piece of waterfront acreage in Christina Lake is one of the highest valued properties in the area.

That’s according to BC Assessment’s annual list of the top 100 properties in the Kootenays and part of the Boundary.

The property at 2700 West Lake Drive was 38th on the list, valued at about $2.3 million.

An acreage Kuskonook, on Kootenay Lake, was 37th, also valued at about $2.3 million dollars.

Blaylock Mansion at Four Mile ranked 19th with a value of $2.6 million.

A couple of acreages at Twin Bays on Kootenay Lake were 65th and 90th.

They were valued at $2.1 million and $1.8 million.

The remaining properties are all in East Kootenay, most in Invermere and Fernie.

The No. 1 property was a waterfront home in Invermere valued at $5.4 million.
