An Oliver physician is running as an independent in the provincial election in Boundary-Similkameen.
Dr. Peter Entwistle says he’s not happy with the state of the health care system in the area and BC.
Entwistle resigned last week as chief of staff at South Okanagan General Hospital for the same reasons.
He’s particularly concerned about a decrease in beds and emergency department staffing.
He’ll run against incumbent Liberal Linda Larson, New Democrat Colleen Ross, and the Green Party’s Vonni Lavers.
