The 75th anniversary of the Dieppe raid is being commemorated by the Royal Canadian Legion’s Grand Forks branch.
Doors open Saturday at 12:30 for a $5 lunch and presentation at 1.
Legion member Jake Raven says it’s an important day to remember.
Raven has also been made a service officer and says the program has been a success.
They’ve helped two people in the community.
