Minimum wage increase positive in long run: Chamber boss

With a minimum wage increase on the horizon, the Boundary Country Regional Chamber of Commerce isn’t worried.

The BC government is raising the minimum wage by 50 cents next month.

Executive director Kendra Begg says it should be a good move in the long run.

Begg also hopes if the BC government’s $15 an hour goal is reached, the progression is very slow.
