It was another weekend of exciting hockey in bear country. Beaver Valley was at The Jack Friday and started off hot with 3 points in the 1st period. Grand Forks fell 4-2 despite out-shooting The Beaver Valley Nitehawks 39-28.
On Saturday, Castlegar was back at the Jack and out for revenge. The Border Bruins held their ground against some feisty Rebels, but neither team could sink one in the third and the Bruins fell 3-2. The Spokane Braves visit Grand Forks at home this Friday, December 14th, puck drops at 7.
