The Grand Forks Border Bruins were back on road this weekend for the first time in 2019, and since the KIJHL showcase in Kamloops.

The Weekend started off strong on Saturday in Fruitvale.¬†Beaver Valley scored first but the Bruins wouldn’t let that happen again, as Grand Forks thumped The Nitehawks 3-1 despite being out-shot 29-18.¬†It was a close game Sunday with The Bruins scoring in the first, but The Spokane Braves put one in net with 1:29 left in the third then won the game in overtime 2-1. The Border Bruins are back at The Jack this Friday, January 11th, to face The Beaver Valley Nitehawks.
