The Grand Forks Border Bruins are looking hungry in 2019, and this past weekend showed. The Nitehawks were at The Jack Friday and Sidney Cruz kicked off the game with a power play for Grand Forks. Ross King was on his A-game again going 33 for 1 in net, and The Beaver Valley Nitehawks fell 4-1. The Border Bruins headed to Nelson for a nail-biter Saturday and didn’t give the Leafs an easy win. Grand Forks was ahead going into the third, but Nelson took that game 7-5. The Nelson Leafs visit The Jack Goddard Memorial Arena Friday to face The Bruins again, puck drops at 7.
