The City of Greenwood wants to know how residents would feel about having a retail cannabis store within city-limits. So far 115 Cannabis Survey submissions have been received with the majority voting in favour. The City is collecting public opinion so that a preliminary report can be presented to City Council, but this doesn’t necessarily mean an application has been received. The report is expected to go to Council on January 28th, and if not, February 11th.
The submission deadline is January 25th and you’re urged to contact City Hall if you haven’t received a Cannabis Survey by mail. Click here for contact details and more.
