A tough weekend at home for the Grand Forks Border Bruins.
The Bruins gave their all Friday night against the top team in the Neil Murdoch Division, Ross King even had 53 saves on the night, but Grand Forks couldn’t hold on and The Nelson Leafs won 5-2. Fernie was in bear country Saturday; The Bruins looked hungry and even had the game tied 2 to 2 going into the 3rd period, but Fernie was on fire and The Ghostriders finished 5-3. The Border Bruins are back at home Friday January 25th to face The Castlegar Rebels, puck drops at 7PM.
