The City of Grand Forks is hosting a Public Hearing next week. The hearing is regarding a couple of Zoning Bylaw amendments.
The first is to accommodate a 25-unit Mobile Home Park and ecological reserve at the Northern end of Boundary Drive. The other addresses eliminating the 100-metre separation requirement between cannabis retail stores, and removing the 50 metre distance requirement from controlled highways for signage and fronts of these stores. Parking accessibility downtown, the permission of Animal Hospitals downtown or in highway commercial areas, Professional Offices in more locations around The City, and a few minor housekeeping items are also to be discussed.
The event hits council chambers Monday, February 11th, at 6PM.
