It was a 6-point long weekend for the Grand Forks Border Bruins, sweeping the competition just days after solidifying their playoff spot. Fernie visited the Jack Friday and the Border Bruins busted the Ghostriders 3-1. Castlegar was visiting on Saturday and lost 4-3 after an explosive first period from Grand Forks. On Sunday The Bruins bussed it up to Creston to take down the Thunder Cats 3-1. The Border Bruins are back at home to face the Nelson Leafs this Friday, puck drops at 7.
