Trail set to roll out 2016 budget

Putting together the 2016 budget has been a long process for the City Of Trail, but the end is in sight.

CAO David Perehudoff has presented the proposed budget to city council and it can now be reviewed on the city’s website.

The total rate increase compared to last year is 4.68%.

That works out to $64 more than last year for an average home.

The rate hikes are made up of a 2.91% rise in the operations levy and the capital enhancement levy which climbs 1.75%.
