The Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch has received 3 submissions for proposed non-medical cannabis retail stores in Grand Forks, and now there’s a Public Hearing on the horizon.
The proposed stores are:
Baggy’s Cannabis Store – 4-7480 4th Street
Quantum 1 Cannabis Corp – 317 Market Avenue
BC Base Camp Investment LTD – 426 Central Avenue
The proposed Central Avenue location came before city council recently, where zoning bylaws were a topic of discussion. The deadline for written submissions is 4PM on March 11th. The public hearing lands in Council Chambers on March 11th at 6PM, as an opportunity to express concerns.
