Attention Boundary bookworms, you’re invited to the Grand Forks and District Public Library‘s Annual General Meeting.
Library Director Cari Lynn Gawletz explains:
“We will go over all the stuff that we did in the last year in 2018, we’ll do our financial report, and we have a big announcement to be made.”
She adds the special announcement is tied to previous fundraising efforts.
Gawletz says members have some say regarding the library’s future:
“So as long as you have a library card you are a voting member of the library so anytime there is a motion to be made, or if there are motions from the floor, so long as you have a library card you are a part of us.”
Refreshments will be available, and usually about 40 members show up to take part. The meeting runs 7PM to 10PM tomorrow, March 6, at the library.
