A ribbon cutting ceremony at Creston Valley hospital this morning.
It marked the completion of the renos to the emergency deparment – two months early.
Site Manager Carolyn Hawton says it will improve patient privacy and flow while increasing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the space.
She says it’s about keeping people out of the waiting room.

Hawton says it is a custom design with input from local physicians and staff.
Donations from the estates of three private Creston area families allowed the $650, 000 upgrade to go ahead.
