Three years of hard work went into the renovated Emergency Department at Creston Valley Hospital and Health Care Centre.
It’s a custom design that included input from physicians and staff.
Chief of Staff, Dr Nerine Kleinhans says the goal is to fill in the service gaps that rural communities face.

Kleinhans says the new layout will benefit the non-emergent patients by getting them into the system faster and seen by a physician sooner.
It offers a more open concept to the nurses in the ER while maintaining patient privacy.
