RCMP are still on the hunt for the assailant in a violent home invasion in Grand Forks last Wednesday.
It was at 08:30 AM when a woman reported she was assaulted in her home by a man wearing a black hoodie and sunglasses.
The man moved on to punch the victim several times and threaten her that he had a knife.
RCMP say the house was ransacked and that the intruder made off with memorabilia and cash from the woman’s wallet.
“We have received a few tips but we are still looking for information”, says Staff Sergeant Jim Harrison with the RCMP.
Police say the assault is concerning as it is unusual for the area.
