If you want to learn more about recent provincial funding, recent restructuring at the Boundary Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, and more, then their Annual General Meeting is the event for you!

“Basically we’re going to do our standard AGM, try and hopefully pick up a few more Directors, we definitely need a couple more bodies on the board there….” Jeff Fero with the Chamber tells the MyGrandForksNow.com newsroom. “Along side our AGM we’re going to have the Downtown Business Association and the City of Grand Forks in attendance to do a bit of a presentation on the Rural Dividend grant. We were given approximately $365,000 in that grant last year.”

Thanks to that grant we now have an Events Manager for the area, Erinne Allen, who will be one of the event’s guest speakers. The AGM hits the Wooden Spoon, Tuesday, June 4th at 5:30PM. Food and drink will be provided by the Wooden Spoon.
