Fire Chief Dale Heriot is no longer with the Grand Forks Fire Department, but the City wishes him the best in his future pursuits. That from the City of Grand Forks in a release yesterday, July 25th.
Heriot was put on paid administrative leave in early May while the department underwent investigations from both the City and WorkSafeBC. At the time, the Department said this would not affect public safety. The City says they appreciate Heriot’s 21 years of service to the community.
