First annual Biz Connect hits Kettle Valley Golf Course

The first annual Biz Connect event held in partnership with Community Futures Boundary and the Boundary Country Regional Chamber of Commerce went very well.

That from Chair of Community Futures Boundary, Alan Peterson:

“I think it’s gone very well, it’s an opportunity to get the…. West Boundary business community out and mix, and network, and meet people, and reacquaint with people…. old acquaintances get together…. yeah, it’s gone well!”

He says you won’t want to miss the next Biz Connect in Grand Forks:

“I encourage them to come out, because it is a chance to do a little bit of networking, because we all have busy lives. It’s also a chance to see what we at Community Futures can do for you. A lot of people don’t know what we do, they see the name on the board on the highway but they don’t know what we can do, and we can offer a lot of help to businesses: financial help, counselling, supports of various types….”

Wednesday’s event at the Kettle Valley Golf Course saw a plethora of West Boundary businesses, employees, and industry reps. To have your business showcased at this year’s event, or for more details, click here. The next event hits the Grand Forks Curling Club on October 17th, from 5PM to 7PM
