The Grand Forks Border Bruins had a pair of home-games over the weekend. The Beaver Valley Nitehawks were in bear country on Friday, but fell 4-1 after an explosive second period from Grand Forks. Spokane visited on Saturday and the Bruins put up a fight, but a power-play from Nathan Cohen-Wallis would not be enough as The braves battered The Bruins 5-3.

The Border Bruins currently sit at third place in the Neil Murdoch Division. They host the Revelstoke Grizzlies this Friday.
