The city of Trail will be showing it’s pride.
This as city council has decided to fly the pride flag above City Hall to show support to the LGBTQ community.
Councillor Lisa Pasin says the city looked into installing a pride-coloured crosswalk but finding a non-signaled intersection while having it in a highly visible pedestrian area is a challenge.
The city hasn’t decided a time frame to raise the flag, but Pasin says it will likely be during pride week in the West Kootenay (early September) to be in line with other communities.
