The Greenwood Board of Trade (BoT) will be hosting an information meeting on Tuesday Feb 11,2020 at 6:00 PM with presentations regarding upcoming changes in the city.
The city is in the final stages of planning for a new inclusive playground where the existing playground at Lions Park now stands. Wendy Higagshi of the city will present to the BoT members and will include a questions and suggestions period.
The second presentation will discuss preliminary plans for the West Kootenay Power Building. The iconic building has sat empty for many years and Greenwood based consulting company Systems Solar will present preliminary plans to activate the landmark.
Systems Solar will be inviting local and regional businesses to participate in the development plan and will be taking names of interested parties to attend a by invitation only site tour.
