The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary is hosting its 3rd annual Emergency Preparedness Fair at the Rock Creek Fairgrounds on March 6th between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
The fair will bring the public and emergency services personnel together for one on one conversations on how to be prepared for emergencies.
There will also be a number of presentations including the Regional Emergency Notification System, and a Fire Smart presentation on organizing the community.
The fair is also a chance to thank those who helped battle the floods and fires that have ravaged the region in the past over a free hamburger or hot dog, courtesy of Kettle River Lions, or coffee and cookies courtesy of the FAR Society.
