The Grand Forks, BC detachment of the RCMP’s commander Sgt. Darryl Peppler told Juice FM that their COVID-19 plan is well underway.

The detachment has met with local emergency services and the plan for policing is business as normal with only a minor changes.  The public is asked to refrain from visiting the detachment unless instructed to do so. Sgt. Peppler suggested that you call first so they can determine if you need to visit, or if they will come to visit you.

The move ensures that the public will not be unnecessarily placed in the path of the highly contagious corona virus.  The detachment can be reached at 250-442-8288 and for all emergencies call 911.
