There is an immediate fire ban for the Boundary Region until April 15th.
This is a Ministry of Environment restriction applicable in “High Smoke Sensitivity Zones” and the restriction was issued to limit smoke particulates that can cause health issues.
Some exemptions including campfires apply and those planning to burn, please contact your local fire department for further information.
