Former chaplain running in GF by-election

A candidate for the vacancy on Grand Forks City Council was a critic of the water meter rollout.

But Bev Tripp says that issue didn’t prompt her to run.

Tripp is retired but spent 14 years as a chaplain in prisons, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.

She hopes to use that background to help bring a voice of reason and collaboration to the table.

She’s one of seven people running in the May 28th by-election.
