Canada Revenue Agency Allows Grand Forks Community Tax Consulting by Telephone

The Canada Revenue Agency has given permission for the Grand Forks Community Volunteer Income Tax Program to offer a modified version of the free tax clinics using the telephone.

During a phone interview, clients will provide information to volunteers, declare the information to be correct, and authorize the volunteer to electronically file the income tax return. All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure that personal information is protected. I(f you live between Christina Lake and Beaverdell, you can  arrange a phone-appointment with a volunteer by calling 250-442-0962 between 10am and 4pm.
