Seniors Services Enhanced at BC211

Services provided by BC211 have been enhanced for seniors over 65 to deal with COVID-19 isolation. This public access information service run by the United Way, in association with the BC Government, Office of the Seniors Advocate, includes phone or virtual check ins, in 9 languages.

It also has a volunteer network that can assist seniors staying home with grocery shopping and delivery of prepared meals and prescriptions.

BC 211, operated by the United Way, has provided BC residents support services by phone and online for a few years now. The service is available by dialing 2-1-1 or online at bc211.ca.
