The City Of Castlegar has compiled it’s list of recipients for disbursement of the 2016 Columiba Basin Trust Initiatives Funding Program.
29 groups will split just over $114,000.
City Councilor Sue Heaton-Sherstobitoff says there were some difficult decisions involved in selecting who would get the funds.
The Castlegar Friends Of Parks And Trails Society was approved for the largest amount at just over $23,000.
The qualifying groups must wait until May 19th to get confirmation from the RDCK that they’ll receive these funds.
