Early Saturday morning Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department was called out to a fully engulfed home on the North Government Street section of Highway 3.
Emergency services included Greenwood VOLUNTEER Fire Department, Midway VOLUNTEER Fire Department, RCMP, and BC Ambulance.
The fire was under control after 4 hours as it had spread to an adjacent property’s garage causing substantial damage to it. Fire crews contained the fire from destroying three adjacent homes.
The occupants of the home escaped the fire.
