Dryden Hunt named WHL’s player of the year

It has been a pretty good year for a Nelson-raised junior hockey standout.

Dryden Hunt has claimed the Four Broncos Memorial Trophy as the WHL’s player of the year.

In 72 games this season with the Moose Jaw Warriors Hunt tallied 58 goals to lead the league and finished second in points with 116.

The one-time Trail Smoke-Eater will be attending his first NHL camp this summer with the Florida Panthers.
