The Grand Forks Downtown Business Association announced the recipient of the ‘Grand Forks: The Place to Grow Your Business’ initiative.
The funding partners announced that Aquagro Garden Supplies Ltd. of Kelowna, BC will be locating at 222 72nd Avenue which is the site of the old Dollar Store.
The initiative was seeking dynamic, community-oriented businesses that wanted to work, live and play in Grand Forks by recruiting new businesses that would add to the vibrancy, shop local culture, and pedestrian friendly feel of the downtown core.
The initiative peaked a lot of interest, having received proposals as far away as Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, and Lethbridge.
