Better keep your ballot pencil handy for one more election as Grand Forks will be holding a by-election for the opening left by councilors Rod Zielinski. Mr. Zielenski resigned from council in August when he took over the city’s public utilities department.
Nominations closed last Friday, October 30th and the formal closing for paperwork is set for November 6th.
Advance polling will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 25 with the election being held on the 5th of December. Juice FM will talk with the candidates next week when they are confirmed.
