Grand Forks RCMP search warrants net suspected illicit drugs and cash

RCMP in Grand Forks executed three search warrants at a local hotel in relation to an ongoing criminal investigation involving the drug trade in Grand Forks.

Four individuals were arrested and taken into custody after a search of the rooms where officers discovered substances suspected to be fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine.

Detachment Commander, Sergeant Darryl Peppler said, “This is another example of some good police work that is working hard to disrupt and dismantle the drug trade in the community of Grand Forks. While we are always pleased to make arrests and seize large amount of drugs, keeping them from getting onto the streets, we know we have more to do, and we are committed to doing so.”

If you have information on criminal activity in the community, they are urged to contact the Grand Forks Detachment at (250) 442-8288 or BC Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
