RDKB by-election for director of Rural Grand Forks Electoral Area D

The RDKB will hold a by-election, in the new year, to replace the vacancy left by Roly Russell’s move to the provincial political arena, for the position of Director, Electoral Area D which covers rural Grand Forks.

Voting will be conducted Saturday, February 13th with one day of advance voting day on Wednesday, February 3rd between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eligible Electoral Area D/Rural Grand Forks electors may also vote by mail ballot.

Voting Location:
Grand Forks Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7269-9th Street

Voting Eligibility and Registration:
You must be on the RDKB List of Registered Electors. If you are not on the list, you may register in advance until 4:00 p.m., December 22, 2020. You may also register at the advance voting opportunity on February 3, 2020 and on General Voting Day, February 13, 2021.

To register, you must complete either a Resident Elector Application for Registration or an Non Resident Property (Owner) Elector Application for Registration.

The RDKB will post information with respect to the nomination period and the declaration of a by-election by voting on this page in the near future and according to the advertising timelines as set out in the Local Government Act.
