The City Of Trail will be looking into ways to assist those who have been impacted by the wildfire in Fort McMurray.
Mayor Mike Martin says an opportunity to assist through the Red Cross has come about through a request from the Federation Of Canadian Municipalities.
He says it is a great time for citizens of trail to get behind some sort of initiative to help Fort McMurray whether through donations or other means.
Council will likely have a plan in place to offer support for victims later this month.
