The city of Trail has seen a slight increase in crime statistics for the first quarter of 2016.
Here’s RCMP Sgt Darren Oelke.
Oelke says assaults and property offences are slightly up from last year.
He adds staff were busy during Silver City Days with around 150 calls for service.
Many instances were probation breaches and public intoxication.
