Community Futures Boundary, in partnership with the City of Grand Forks and RDKB, Area D have announced the latest updates to their www.investgrandforks.com economic development website.
The site was created as a tool for business investment inquiries and it serves as an online portal for potential business investors and new citizens seeking information about Grand Forks.
The site includes GIS mapping allows the user to view the Lands Inventory containing vacant parcels, underutilized parcels that have space to expand, and existing buildings and utilized parcels that could be redeveloped in the future through demolition or expansion of the existing use.
The Investment Data portal provides a wide range of statistical data including; population, labour force, housing, real estate sales and other key economic indicators. Data is sourced from Statistics Canada, BC Statistics, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and the Ministry of Finance. The portal provides the option to print or download data and create tailored reports.
Investgrandforks.com is part of a larger economic development initiative funded by The Province of British Columbia – Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development.
