Motorists should not be concerned about safety on the Paulson Bridge after parts of it were damaged last week.
That’s the message from Ministry of Transportation District Manager Hugh Eberle following an engineering investigation into the damaged guard rails and some concrete.
A tractor-trailer unit flipped and slid into the rails.
Eberle says there’s an interim solution until the repair is done.
The main structure of the bridge is not compromised but the repairs will cost about $200,000.
