RDCK directors actively trying to save Creston school

Regional politicians in the Creston area are taking a more proactive approach to keep a local school open.

As SD-8 ponders the future of the Creston education centre, Creston area RDCK directors are bolstering the troops and drafting a game plan.

Area A’s Garry Jackman says he is bringing together a few interested community members for input.

He says the ideal solution is to secure the existing programming and build onto it.

Jackman says the RDCK is interested in leasing the gym and fields for community use.
