Christina Lake school gets $200,000 for new roof

A funding injection for Christina Lake Elementary School.

Boundary Similkameen MLA Linda Larson says the school will receive funds through the provincial government’s $45 million school enhancement program.

In addition to the government’s contribution,  School District 51 will chip in $50,000.

Other schools in our region getting funding include Rosemont Elementary in Nelson to replace a retaining wall, Twin Rivers Elementary in Castlegar to replace boilers and Nakusp Elementary for a roof replacement.
