Boundary COVID-19 cases remain low

The Boundary had five new COVID-19 casesĀ from March 27 to April 2, according to BC Centre for Disease Control. That was up from two the week before.

Grand Forks had three new cases (up from two) and Kettle Valley had two (up from zero).

In the West Kootenay, the Nelson area accounted for more than half of all new cases. It had 29 new cases, down from 43 the week before. There were only 18 cases in the rest of the region combined.

Trail had 11 (unchanged), Castlegar five (unchanged), Creston two (unchanged), Arrow Lakes zero (down from two), and Kootenay Lake zero (unchanged).
