A successful initiative in the Greater Trail area and funded through the Columbia Basin Trust has come to it’s end.
Over the last three years the Lower Columbia Community Directed Funds Program has invested in nine projects across the region.
Here’s Bruce Lerose who was the program chair.
The projects that received investments were characterized by specific scopes, objectives, implementation timelines, measurable results and identifiable milestones to track progress.
These included the area’s Rural Residency Program for doctors, the Midas high tech incubator facility and a project for new cabins through Friends of the Rossland Range.
