Planned upgrades to the playground at Crawford Bay Community Park has a one-in-five shot at winning a chunk of funding.
The project made the cut as a finalist in BCAA’s Play Here contest.
The prize is up to $100, 000.
Ellie Reynold’s, Coordinator of the group spearheading the project saw this as a great opportunity.
The winner is determined by whichever community receives the most votes and folks can vote once a day until the end of June at www.bcaaplayhere.com
Reynold’s says the current playground equipment is about 30 years old and in dire need of replacement.
