Next month’s municipal election in Midway will feature a rematch of the 2018 general election, where Martin Fromme defeated incumbent mayor Doug McMynn.
The two will square off again next month in an election that also offers voters seven council candidates to choose from.
They include incumbents Richard Dunsdon and Darrin Metcalf, former councillor Gail Bryan, and newcomers Colleen Dolman, Ken Morris, Aaron Pownall, and Judy Willsey.
Voting day is Oct. 15.
