John Bolt elected mayor of Greenwood

Incumbent Greenwood councillor John Bolt is the newest mayor of Canada’s smallest city.

Bolt beat incumbent Barry Noll 194 to 157.

The council will consist of Jessica McLean (273), incumbent Jim Nathorst (224), former councillor Gerry Shaw (214), and Clint Huisman.

Missing the cut were Doug Teramoto (189), Gary Stewart (70), Mike Goddard (66), and Carolina Hopkins (51).

Turnout was 62 per cent.
