The city of Trail is looking into ways to spruce up the approaches on either side of the new Columbia River Skywalk which is under construction.
Engineering Technician Warren Proulx says original plans for the approaches were quite basic, but that has changed.
There will also be a focus on safety on the north end of by narrowing Columbia Avenue and adding a three way stop close to where the bridge ends.
Construction costs for the approach improvements is estimated to be around $140,000.
