More transit is coming next year to the Regional District of Central Kootenay.
This after the board endorsed extra runs for routes in the Slocan Valley, Nelson’s North Shore , Blewett, Kaslo, Nakusp and Salmo.
RDCK Research Analyst Randy Matheson says it’s important to get more service on the so-called “feeder routes” that connect with the main Nelson-Castlegar corridor.
The extra service will start next spring.
Also in 2018 an additional afternoon run will be put on the Nelson-Castlegar route.
