A Nelson woman who has been honoured for saving a man’s life in 2013 is very humble about the whole experience.
Lisa Collyer, who works at the Prestige Lakeside Resort, was presented with the St. John Ambulance award for life saving last month.
In April 2013 she performed CPR on a man after his car overturned off Highway 3 near Christina Lake and was submerged underwater.
She has also received a Commanding Officer’s Commendation award and a Governor General’s Award.
